With around 146 participants regularly attending our Adult Community Services centres, your donations have been working hard to create spaces that are not only functional but also welcoming, inclusive, and—dare we say—pretty awesome!

• The sensory room: This isn’t just a room—it’s an experience! Picture walls with interactive displays, glowing bubble tubes with fibre-optic lighting, a cosy vibe with soft seating, and specially chosen furnishings and flooring. It’s a perfect mix of calming and engaging, especially designed to provide for participants varied sensory needs.
• The rainforest-themed quiet room: This rainforest-inspired quiet space is the place for participants' to help with regulation.
• Fresh new bathroom facilities: Who says bathrooms can’t be exciting? Our new facilities are stylish, accessible, and designed with high support needs participants front of mind.
• A kitchen that’s cooking up life skills: We’re also proud to show off our shiny new kitchen! Not only is it a great space for cooking and social activities, but it’s also a multi-workspace hub for helping participants build confidence and learn essential
  cooking and life skills.

What’s next?

Gifts both large and small brought these projects to life, including a beautiful gift-in-will donation that funded the new kitchen. And with the support of incredible people like you, we're gearing up for more improvements, including new outdoor spaces, a sensory garden and a dining area.
