A message from our Principal
I would like to extend a very warm welcome to Aspect Riverina. Organisationally we have a range of services to support people on the spectrum and their families. To do this as successfully as we do, we have structured our practices using Aspect's approach which draws on six principles that work in unison with the person at the centre. Ensuring that we have our focus clearly articulated from the point of view of the individual we have incorporated the Autism initiatives (UK’s) Five point Star – Thinking, Communication, Expectation, Motivation and Sensory.
While the School has many strengths, Aspect’s most tangible strength is its supportive community. Our staff are totally committed to establishing and nurturing genuine relationships with our students and their families. Parents are always welcome at the school and it provides a rich network of support to the school and one another.
At Aspect, we continually work to improve our services, programs and approaches to supporting people on the autism spectrum and their families by applying the latest knowledge and evidence available and evaluating our services and programs for best practice.
At Aspect Riverina, our young people are our focus. We value the part we have to play in your child’s journey to adulthood and thank you for allowing us the privilege to share it with you.
