Sydney, Australia – Aspect is excited to announce the appointment of David Cowan and Jim Boynton to its Board of Directors.
David Cowan, BCA, MCSE, CISM, ISO27001, brings over 26 years of experience in Technology and Information Security. He is a recognised leader in Cybersecurity, Technology Risk, and Business Resilience, having been acknowledged with several industry awards for his contributions. David has been involved with Aspect since January 2024, when he was invited to join the Board’s Cyber Security Working Group (CSWG) as an External Committee Member and subject matter expert. In September 2024, David was appointed to the Board, and continues to play a pivotal role in the CSWG.
Jim Boynton, LLB, B.Ec, is a seasoned commercial lawyer with nearly 30 years of experience as a partner at the international law firm King & Wood Mallesons (KWM), where he advised leading global and local clients in the financial services sector. Jim held several leadership roles at KWM, including positions on the partnership committee, pro bono committee, and as the Sydney Centre Staff Partner. He currently serves as a Senior Consultant at KWM. In addition, Jim is an observer on the Audit and Risk Committee of the Aurora Education Foundation and serves as the honorary solicitor at his local beach club. Jim joined the Aspect Board in September 2024 as a Board-appointed Director.
Both David and Jim bring a wealth of expertise that will further strengthen Aspect’s leadership and governance as the organisation continues to grow and innovate.
