Case Study
Sydney Catholic Schools (2024)
In 2024, Aspect Education continued its successful partnership with Sydney Catholic Schools to provide autism-specific support across the region. This partnership illustrates how tailored, site-based programs can respond to community need and create pathways for student success:
- 168 students enrolled in Aspect Satellite Classes across 10 Sydney Catholic Schools
- 70 of these students were referred to Aspect by Sydney Catholic schools of whom 34 students identified as priority referrals.
- 17 students transitioned into partner school settings through the program within the year
This data reflects a genuine and mutual partnership. The collaboration demonstrates timely, targeted response and sustainable student outcomes.

"It’s not just about placement—it’s about a pathway. These partnerships give our most vulnerable students a supported journey through education."
SCS Representative

"He was coming home and saying he was dumb. After Aspect, he wanted to learn again. He made friends. He smiled."
Erin Hodge, Aspect Parent

"The public-private partnership gave us the tools to better support our community. Less red tape, more student impact."
Principal, Department of Education

"All of those issues that Jono was experiencing—they had strategies for all of them, and it was a matter of sort of educating us as well. They really included us. I found it was really family-centred in the first instance, which I think was really important."
Pat Seto, Aspect Parent

"As the Executive Director of Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga, I highly recommend partnering with Aspect. Their commitment to inclusion has created new learning pathways for students, allowing them to thrive locally and meaningfully. Aspect also provides the opportunity for our staff to participate in professional learning and develop strategies for inclusive teaching, while fostering a strong sense of belonging for all students. By working alongside schools, Aspect has not only enhanced the learning experience for individual students but also enriched entire school communities. The partnership has fostered a culture of inclusivity."
